I have wanted to blog every day over the past weekend but tomorrow morning Patrick and I are packing the majority of our wedding decor and all our luggage for the week including my poufy gown and his suit and tie, etc. and heading down to L.A. That means I've had to print, finalize and organize EVERYTHING in the past week or so which means basically non-stop wedding shiz. Detailed musings on the new Cool Ranch Doritos Taco Supreme (meh) and the new Josh Ritter album (glorious) will have to wait.
But, I was super excited to find the iPod that I used from 2007-2010, which I'm bringing down to listen to while I get ready for our wedding next Saturday morning. It is a full 80 gigs of music so, as you can imagine, there is some truly amazing stuff on it including these two gorgeous songs that I wanted desperately to work into our festivities, but just couldn't find a place for. They both say pretty much the same amazing thing:
I've got reservations
About so many things
But not about you.
The Only Exception - Paramore I couldn't use this song because I start bawling about ten seconds in every time I hear it and I'm just a wreck the entire time. I honestly am gonna lost it just thinking about it.
And I've always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable, distance.
And up until now
I had sworn to myself that I'm content
With loneliness.
Because none of it was ever worth the risk, but
you are the only exception.
