When I was little I thought that the best freaking thing in the world you could do when you were an adult was to buy as much cake and candy as you wanted and eat it all. AT THE SAME TIME. And no one could say anything about it.
I didn't realize how you might want to take an awesome nap post-cake. Remember how naps were devilishly boring when you were young and you'd rather be doing anything else? In kindergarten I'd lie awake and outraged during naptime every single day, listening to my classmate's breathing in the semi-dark.
I also never thought that the person saying something about all the junk food hedonism might be yourself. You bought a cake with your own damn money, then you eat it - duh! Why do adults ruin everything with guilt and self-rigtheous acrimony.
