Although I still have a number of projects to complete for our upcoming wedding, I'm almost positive that none of them will turn out nearly as well as our clothespin dolls cake topper which is currently the pride and joy of my life.
I first bought the materials for these dolls a year ago, and in the intervening months there was at least a half dozen times when I practiced making their components and decided that there was no way they were going to turn out even half decent. But I persevered and I am over the moon with how the whole piece turned out. I'm currently obsessed with it and although I should be mailing it to our wedding cake bakery soon I keep delaying because I just want to keep looking at it.
